ISIS bride Shamima Begum took to the ‘NIHE House Swaps’ Facebook page this morning to ask if anyone in the Tullycarnet area would be willing to swap their home for her place in a Syrian detention camp.
The 19-yr-old fled the UK to Syria as a schoolgirl aged 15 but now hopes to move to the Tullycarnet housing estate in East Belfast.
Ms Begum’s family lawyer has vowed to fight a move to strip the ISIS bride of her British citizenship and believes she can secure a return to the UK if she finds accommodation sooner rather than later.
‘lukin to swap a detention camp in Syria (pics available on request) for a 4 bedroom 2 bathroom in Tullycarnet pm if interested’, wrote the Londoner on the NIHE House Swaps page on Facebook.
‘Wud prefer Kinross Ave to be near the shaps’, added Ms Begum.
A flurry of comments appeared underneath the post within seconds with people demanding more information about the detention centre.
‘Does the centre have a park for the wee’ans?’, wrote wee Sandra from Leven Park.
‘Does the landlord except benefits?’ quizzed Big ‘Tofo’ Stewart.
‘What about pets?’, asked Wingnut Williams before posting a photo of his beloved Alsatian ‘Sasha’ sporting a Glasgow Rangers bib.
However, after doing a little more research about the area, Shamima removed her post and decided to remain in the Syrian detention camp for now.
‘There’s a more reliable bus service in Syria than that f**king 4d one’, she explained .
