Glentoran have announced the double-signing of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
The pair have joined the Oval club on 3-year deals and will go straight into the squad for Tuesday’s home clash with Coleraine.
It’s understood the East Belfast outfit swooped for the couple after failing in bids to land Jeremy Corbyn, Morrissey and Mohamed Al-Fayed.
Glens boss Smick McDermott urged fans to trust his judgement over the signings during an interview with the club’s inhouse YouTube channel.
‘I have made a judgement call here and I ask the Glentoran support to trust and back my judgement on this signing as with all the others.
‘Harry and Meghan will bring a wealth of experience in causing drama and epitomize what this club is all about’.
McDermott concluded the interview by taking a shite on a green, red and black flag.
Meanwhile, both Harry and Meghan said they were humbled to join Glentoran during an interview in which Meghan spoke on behalf of them both.
‘We are very excited to be here in East Belfast’.
‘We cannot wait to try a fish supper from the Bethany’.
‘We even bought Archie a North Face jacket’.
To celebrate the signings, Glentoran’s social media team posted a video of Linfield’s 50 greatest goals.
